TUMBLE CLASSES

PRE-TUMBLE- AGES 4-6

Pre-Tumble focuses on developing a strong foundation for tumbling and teaching introductory skills. Class time is spent learning proper tumbling shapes, skills, technique, and body awareness.

Skill Focus:

Forward Roll ~ Backward Roll ~ Handstand ~ Cartwheel ~ Bridge 

ADVANCED PRE-TUMBLE- AGES 4-6

Advanced Pre-Tumble focuses on more in depth tumbling skills. Students in this class have mastered their basic skills from Pre-Tumble and need more of a challenge.

Skill Focus:

Round Off ~ Back Bend ~ Back Walkover ~ Front Walkover

 

TUMBLE 1 - AGES 6 & UP 

Beginner Class- No Prerequisites.

Tumble 1 focuses on developing a strong foundation for tumbling and teaching introductory skills. Class time is spent learning proper tumbling shapes, skills, technique and body awareness.

Skill Focus:

Forward Roll ~ Backward Roll ~ Handstand ~ Cartwheel ~ Roundoff ~ Bridge ~ Back bend
Back Bend Kick Over ~ Handstand Fall To Bridge ~ Power Hurdle

 

*Student will need to have mastered a Round Off Rebound and Backbend Kick over in order to move onto Tumble 2*

TUMBLE 2 - AGES 6 & UP 

Prerequisites: Round Off Rebound and Backbend Kick Over

Tumble 2 focuses on developing intermediate tumbling skills along with perfecting tumbling shapes and beginner skills. Class time is spent focusing on specific skills as well as standing and running back handsprings. Learning proper tumbling skills is a process and not something that is accomplished in a month.

Skill Focus:

Back Front Walkover ~ Back Handspring ~ Round Off Back Handspring ~ Power Hurdle Round Off Back Hand Spring ~ Cartwheel Back Handspring ~ Front tuck.

 

*Student will need to have mastered, Running Round off Multiple back Handsprings & Multiple Standing Back Handsprings. to move to Tumble 3*

TUMBLE 3+ AGES 6 & UP

Prerequisites: Running Round Off Multiple Back Handsprings, and Multiple Standing Back Handspring. 

Tumble 3+ focuses on advanced skills and building specialty passes. Class time is spent working on drills that are focused on learning new skills, perfecting current skills, standing and running skills.

Skill Focus: 

Tucks ~ Pikes ~ Layouts ~ Fulls & Double Fulls ~ Jumps to Tumble ~ Whips ~ Arabians
